What is BulletPoint?
BulletPoint is a free web app for creating and editing Microsoft PowerPoint
presentations online. It runs entirely in your web browser — on Windows,
macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, and iPad — with nothing to install. Open an
existing .pptx file, edit text, shapes, images, and tables, translate content
with AI, generate slides and images from a prompt, and export back to .pptx.
Features
- Import & export PPTX — Open any .pptx file and download your edited deck as .pptx; text, shapes, images, and tables are preserved.
- Drag-and-drop slide editing — Move, resize, and rotate text, shapes, and images with precise numeric control in the properties panel.
- AI chat assistant — Ask questions about the current slide or your whole deck and request edits in natural language.
- AI translation — Translate a text box, a single slide, or the entire deck across 12+ languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
- AI slide & image generation — Generate title and bullet slides from a description, or create an image from a text prompt and insert it onto a slide.
- Slide management — Add, delete, duplicate, and reorder slides.
- Export to PNG & PDF — Download one or all slides as PNG images, or print to PDF.
- Presentation mode — Present fullscreen with keyboard and click navigation, a laser pointer, and a timer.
- Multi-language interface — Use BulletPoint in 12 languages.
- MCP server — Remote MCP endpoint at
https://bulletpoint.dev/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no auth, no API key). Two tools: md2ppt (Markdown → .pptx) and ppt2md (.pptx → Markdown). Works with Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code Copilot, Devin CLI, and any MCP client.
Connect your AI agent via MCP
BulletPoint runs a remote MCP server at https://bulletpoint.dev/api/mcp.
It is stateless Streamable HTTP — no session, no auth, no API key.
Tools
md2ppt — Convert Markdown text to a .pptx file (returns base64). # H1 starts a new slide; lists become bullets; > becomes speaker notes; tables and code blocks are supported.
ppt2md — Convert a .pptx file (base64 input) to Markdown text. Extracts slide titles, bullets, tables, inline formatting, and speaker notes.
